CANTON, Mass. — Police have arrested two more suspects involved in an alleged armed home invasion and assault.

Canton Police announced that Michael Nguyen, 18, was arrested Friday in Dorchester. Another suspect, 22-year-old Brendon Amado, was also arrested Friday.

Amado and Nguyen were both wanted for an alleged armed home invasion, armed assault and robbery in an incident in Canton on July 13.

Canton Police had responded to a call for several people trying to break into a house on Rockland Street.

Officers found three people running away from the house and towards a getaway car, which had been waiting for the suspects.

One of the suspects got out of the car during the incident and fled on foot in Stoughton. An officer ran after the suspect, eventually catching him.

Canton Police took 26-year-old Brockton native Doronde Bethea into custody, recovering a gun Bethea had on him that had been thrown away when he left the truck.

The pickup sped off with the rest of the suspects before crashing on Mill Street, where they then fled on foot.

Nguyen is being held on a $100,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Stoughton District Court.
