State Police still searching for 'Baby Doe' identity as more possibilities are eliminated

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – After several weeks of searching, the Massachusetts State Police have ruled out several more children as the identity of "Baby Doe" found on Deer Island.

"Numerous Facebook users seeking to provide information in the Deer Island toddler case have asked us to look into a girl named Sophia Moux. The lead originated from a Facebook post by user with the last name Lopez, who thought she may have observed the girl and her mother recently," state police said.

After looking in to the possibility police said they located Sophia, who is alive and well.

"Other possible subjects frequently sent to us and who have been ruled out are Aliayah Lunsford of West Virginia, Ayla Reynolds of Maine, and Caleigh Harrison of Rockport," police said.
