Special train service provided to AFC Championship at Gillette Stadium

FOXBORO, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The MBTA Commuter Rail announced Wednesday that they plan to provide special train service to the AFC Championship game in Foxboro Sunday.

The special trains will depart from South Station in Boston and TF Green Airport in Warwick, RI and arrive at Gillette Stadium for the New England Patriots AFC Championship game. The round trip fare is $15 and you can buy tickets at the Keolis ticket windows located at South Station, Back Bay and North Station and at the Dedham Corp Center Station on game days. You can also buy tickets by using the MBTA mTickets App. Riders should know that regular Commuter Rail tickets and passes cannot be used to ride these trains.

Items prohibited at Gillette Stadium will not be allowed on the special trains.
