GREENFIELD, Mass. — A small plane had to make an emergency landing on Route 91 in Greenfield after a mechanical failure Wednesday evening.
The two occupants onboard the aircraft were uninjured. The plane was not hit by any vehicles during the landing.
Massachusetts State Police helped move the aircraft to the shoulder of the highway so traffic could get by.
Crews are currently on scene attempting to remove the plane. The FAA has been notified.
