AGAWAM, Mass. — It's an epic combination that combines theme park thrills and "Pokemon Go" craze.
Six Flags New England is hosting a “Pokemon Go” weekend at the Agawam theme park. On the weekend of July 22 to 24, attendants at the park will be able to "catch 'em all" while going on the rides. There will be charging stations, games, prizes and raffles. Six Flags is also hosting a lure-a-thon, in order to attract rare Pokemon.
Those with a season pass or membership can attend the Pokemon Go weekend for free. There is a discount for other guests if they use the promo code POKEMON at sixflags.com/newengland.
Six Flags is apparently "swarming" with Pokemon, with four gyms and more than 30 Pokestops.
