GEORGETOWN, Mass. — A Thursday evening crash on an I-95 North exit ramp has closed a portion of the highway temporarily, according to multiple state organizations.
The major highway is currently closed near Exit 53, according to Jacquelyn Goddard, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation Communications Director. The crash occurred on the Exit 54 B ramp and required emergency services to MedFlight the victim away from the scene.

After med flight clears the scene the 54 B ramp will still stay closed.
That victim sustained serious injuries in the crash, according to Mass. State Police. There had not been an update on their condition at the time of publication.

State Police announced that serious delays are expected near that stretch of I-95 North. The organization added that Exit 54 B would be closed for investigation.
