TAUNTON, Mass. — An occupied school bus came into contact with downed wires Tuesday morning, police told FOX25.
According to an officer at the scene, a car in front of the bus hit a telephone pole. The car then fled the scene.
The crash happened on Fremont Street.
There are no injuries.
Crews were on scene investigating just before 7:30 a.m.
CORRECTION: At 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, the fire department told FOX25 that the school bus struck the pole. The story has been updated reflecting a later update from the police department.
