YARMOUTH, Mass. — Emergency crews in Yarmouth on Friday rescued a man whose sailboat capsized in Lewis Bay.
Yarmouth Division of Natural Resources personnel raced to the capsized boat off of Glenwood Street around 11:30 a.m. They found the man shivering in the water.
Rescuers quickly pulled him onto their boat and gave him a sweatshirt. They brought him to a boat ramp in Hyannis where he was met by paramedics.
The man was rushed to Cape Cod Hospital in an ambulance. He's being treated for severe hypothermia.
