CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The Remy and Martel families have come to an agreement over the custody of Arianna Remy, the daughter of Jennifer Martel and Jared Remy.
Jennifer Martel was killed last August, and Jared Remy, her boyfriend, is accused of murdering her.
The agreement was reached on Tuesday, according to statements from lawyers on both sides. Members of the Martel family will be the 5-year-old girl's guardians, and she will also spend time with the Remys, the statement read.
Further details about the agreement were not released.
Arianna had been in foster care for months while the Martels, as well as Red Sox broadcaster Jerry Remy and his wife Phoebe sought custody of their granddaughter after the stabbing death of Jennifer.
