ORLEANS, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) - A red flag warning has been issued to several Cape Cod beaches, alerting them to rough waters and strong rip tides.
The National Parks service says expert swimmers should not have any problems, but encourages others to stay on shore. Lifeguards at the National Park beaches have discretion.
- Nauset Beach in Orleans
- Coast Guard Beach in Eastham
- Nauset Beach in Eastham
- Marconi Beach in Wellfleet
- Head of Meadow Beach in Truro.
There is no word on when the beaches will reopen for swimming or when the red flag will be lifted.
