Pope John High School in Everett announces it is closing

EVERETT, Mass. — Pope John High School in Everett is closing.

In a letter shared on the school's Facebook page, administrators say they simply don't have the money to keep the doors open.

More than seven other schools have expressed interest to Pope John about helping their students.

The school says it will post more information about the transition on Friday.
