SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — A woman has been arrested and charged after her boyfriend told police she tried to kill him.
Keturah Franklin's boyfriend told police she punched him in the face, threw a pot at him and then stabbed him in the side because he didn't buy her a Valentine's Day gift.
The victim told police the knife wound caused his lung to collapse, though he has now recovered.
Franklin was arrested on Tuesday after being on the run for over two months, and is set to appear in court today.
She is facing two charges of aggravated assault and is being held on a $20,000 bond.
A similar incident happened in Ohio this past Valentine's Day.
