Police: Stolen boat crashed into home across from Ossipee Lake

OSSIPEE, N.H. — A boat sped off the water, over a beach, across a road and into a house in Ossipee, N.H. late Sunday night, according to state police.

The marine patrol found a running boat without anyone in it resting on the front porch of a home on Deer Cove

Road across from Ossipee Lake shortly after midnight Sunday night.

Police say the boat traveled about 75 feet off the water to wedge partially into the side of the home.

The 20-foot boat was stolen from a mooring across the lake before it was crashed into the home, according to police.
