BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police are investigating after a shooting near the Northeastern University campus.
The shooting happened Tuesday afternoon on Huntington Avenue near Boston House of Pizza. Campus police sent an alert to students asking them to avoid the area.
The victim, who was a resident of the Federal pre-release center there, was taken to the hospital in critical condition, police say. They also said that this was a targeted shooting and the public is not in danger.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
