BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police and fire officials were investigating a strong odor of gasoline and discovered illegal dirt bikes.
Friday morning officials went to 158 Adams St. in Dorchester and found six dirt bikes and one four wheel motor bike. Officers tried to locate the owners of the dirt bikes, but no one claimed ownership. Police then towed the bikes from the property and impounded them.
Officers have received numerous complaints from community members relative to bike thefts.
