BOSTON — The Cannabis Control Commission has approved its first two testing labs for product sold in recreational pot shops.
CDX Analytics out of Salem and MCR Labs out of Framingham are now licensed to test the potency and purity of the marijuana sold in Massachusetts, a pivotal move toward official sales.

The CCC also approved seven provisional licenses on Thursday.
The commission also approved a list of certified vendors to help with equity applicants. The idea is to provide a resource to get more of them over the line and get their applications approved.
