NEWBURYPORT (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) A famous pirate ship featured in several blockbuster films is skipping the celebrity tradition of vacationing in the Hamptons and instead opting for a stay in Newburyport.
The HMS Bounty has been featured in films like "Pirates of the Caribbean" parts two and three, "Mutiny on the Bounty" with Marlon Brando, and "Treasure Island" with Charlton Heston.
The Bounty is staying in Newburyport until 9 a.m. Monday in an effort to raise funds for a whale boat building project currently underway.
