One person seriously injured in dirt bike accident in Kingston

KINGSTON, Mass. — A dirt bike accident in Kingston sent the driver 50 feet into the woods on Sunday morning, according to police.

Authorities responded to a call at about 9:15 a.m. for reports of a motorcycle accident in a wooded area near 341 Bishops Highway.

Officials found one victim about 50 feet into the woods.

The victim was taken by ambulance to Beth Israel Plymouth where a Medflight was planned to transport them to Boston. The Medflight was later canceled and police cannot say why at this time.

Police are actively investigating this incident.
