TYNGSBOROUGH, Mass. — A serious motor vehicle accident involving two cars in Tyngsborough has left one person dead and two others with non-life threatening injuries.

At approximately 1 p.m. on Sunday, two cars collided with each other on Pawtucket Boulevard. The driver of one car, a 31-year-old female, was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.
Two passengers in the other car were also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Middlesex District Attorney is actively investigating this incident along with the Tyngsborough Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
Anyone who may have witnessed a head on motor vehicle accident which occurred today at approximately 1 PM on Pawtucket Blvd. in front of Voke school entrance is urged to call the Tyngsboro police department and provide any information they may have. Thank you.

No charges have been filed as of Sunday night and no other additional information is being released as of right now.
