A man is dead after being shot in the head in Dorchester on Saturday afternoon.
Boston Police said the shooting happened around 4:00 p.m. on Evans Street.
The man sustained life-threatening injuries and was reported dead on scene.
This is an active investigation but police do not believe this incident is tied with Friday's shooting.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact them immediately.
