NEW YORK (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police are searching for a Brooklyn tattoo artist who has not been found after he allegedly beat his girlfriend until her face was unrecognizable.
The Daily Mail reports that 22-year-old Alexandra Rose Johnson took to social media with photos of her face and other injuries after 38-year-old Dakota Bond beat her.
The abuse happened back in January, but Johnson made the photos public more recently after she heard that Bond said she "likes it rough." He also said that she had "asked for it," and that she was a prostitute.
Bond is a tattoo artist, and Johnson called the photos of her bloodied face his "latest work" when she posted to Facebook.
Johnson said Bond was drunk and began to beat her when she got home from work because she had refused to leave her first day of work 30 minutes early. He reportedly punched her girlfriend in the face several times, and whipped her stomach with a chain while her arms and hands were tied together.
Bond, who works at a Brooklyn tattoo shop called Morning Star, has yet to be found. Police are searching for him.
Johnson has reported she has also been harassed by his friends ever since posting the photos.
