New search warrant executed at Rachelle Bond's home

DORCHESTER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A new search warrant was issued at the home of Rachelle Bond, Bella Bond's mother, Wednesday.

A FOX25 source says investigators obtained another search warrant for Bond's home on Maxwell Street in Dorchester. Our Ted Daniel was on the scene just after a refrigerator and mattress were removed from the apartment.

Melvin Smith says he saw investigators load the appliance onto a pick-up truck.

"It's a white refrigerator, 22 cubic inch, because I do maintenance. It's regular kitchen size, but kind of a large," he said.

Bond is the mother of the 2-year-old girl found dead on Deer Island, that most have to come know as "Baby Doe." The little girl may have been kept in that refrigerator for a month before her body was found. Bond's boyfriend, Michael McCarthy, is charged with killing the child and Bond is charged as an accessory after the fact.
