BOSTON — Comcast is experiencing a nationwide outage that is affecting television and Internet customers.
According to the company's website, Boston is among the cities that are affected. Others include Chicago, Seattle, Denver, Houston, Portland, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, New York, Washington and Minneapolis.
FOX25 received several calls and emails from customers who are affected by the outage, which began Monday morning.
The company released the following statement shortly before1:30 p.m.:
"We have repaired the temporary network interruption that impacted some of our services this morning. Our engineers continue to work on this issue and almost all services have already been restored. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our customers."
