Motorcycle and vehicle collide in Worcester

WORCESTER — A motorcycle and motor vehicle collided Friday evening in Worcester, injuring the motorcyclist, said police.

The crash happened near 340 Grove St. around 9:10 p.m. Preliminary investigation indicates a 2009 Toyota Camry began to turn left into a gas station, in front of the motorcycle, said police. The Toyota hit the left side of the motorcycle, causing it to lose control and crash.

Police said the motorcyclist, a 37-year-old man from West Boylston, suffered a leg injury and cuts and the injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police did not say whether the Toyota driver, an 18-year-old woman from Holden, was injured.

The investigation into the crash remains active, said police.
