Mother pushing for answers 2 years after 13-year-old went missing

BOSTON — Kristopher Lewis was 13-years-old when he disappeared two years ago and his mother is still hoping for some answers.

"Kris always came home. Kris always called me. No matter what," said Nina Cancel, Kristopher's mother.

Cancel said her son was last seen getting off his school bus on Feb. 4, 2014.

"It's been hard. I've been forcing myself to get up every day and go to work," she said.

He went to Lee School, and took the bus home, dropping him off at the corner of Morton and West Selden.  A bus driver confirms Kristopher was definitely on the bus. A friend of his told her he walked with Kristopher right up until they were a block from his home.

Kristopher was expected home at 5:30 p.m. When he still hadn't showed up by 6, Cancel was worried.

Kristopher's mother has been sending out fliers and putting his picture on Facebook, but has seen and heard nothing of him in the past two years.

She said he never ran away and was always in school or at home. She also rejects the idea that he was part of any gang activity.

"I love him and I miss him a lot," said Cancel.

All she now that her oldest son is now gone. If you know anything about the disappearance of Kristopher Lewis, call Boston Police.
