Middleboro man accused of offering teenage girl money to get into his car

A 55-year-old Middleboro man who allegedly offered a teenage girl money to get into his car in Randolph last week was arraigned in court Thursday.

Police say the 16-year-old girl told investigators the man asked her disturbing questions.

She said he made lewd comments like, "What would you do for $100?" She claims he then asked her if she wanted to go behind the building and strip and show her body to him, according to police.

The girl's mother did not want to identify her daughter or herself. She did, however, show Boston 25 News the picture her daughter snapped of the suspect before running away.

Investigators said someone recognized the man as Glenn Everett after seeing his picture on Facebook, and informed the authorities.

"It was a plan because he drove and got out of his car and was at the bus stop talking to her," the girl's mother said.

She was grateful her daughter had a phone in her hands to be able to take a picture of the man.

Everett told police that he was in the area to buy steroids from a dealer.

He was released on his own recognizance and was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
