The fire happened on July 23 at 20 Cooper St., damaging adjacent buildings and 20 cars. It caused an estimated $110 million in damage.
"This was a significant event," said Ciccone.
Nineteen cities and town responded to help Waltham fire extinguish the blaze.
One of the reasons the fire was so large and strong was the fact the building was made of wood and fire alarms weren't installed yet, leading to a delayed response.
