Manchester, NH police investigating weak, emaciated dog found in park

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Police in Manchester, New Hampshire are investigating after an extremely weak dog was found stumbling in a local park.

The female pit bull, known as Daisy by her rescuers, was found falling over as she tried walking down the road near Livingston Park.

A good Samaratin rushed her to an emergency veterinary hospital.

Daisy weighed just 26 pounds when she was brought in, but vets say she should weigh closer to 60 pounds.

They have been feeding her and giving her intravenous fluids.

The shelter taking care of Daisy says she has a long road ahead of her, but they are hoping she can be adopted once she recovers.
