ROSLINDALE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- FOX25's Ted Daniel was first to uncover and report that the man who was shot and killed by authorities in Roslindale on Tuesday worked at CVS. According to a spokesperson with the pharmacy chain, Usaama Rahim worked in different positions including theft protection.

A statement from the CVS spokesperson said:

"Usaamah Rahim worked for CVS since March 2015 in different retail positions. The Roslindale CVS/pharmacy was not open during the time of the incident involving Mr. Rahim and no other employees or customers were involved. We are fully cooperating with the authorities in this matter."

Usaama Rahim's Roslindale home was part of a crime scene Tuesday after the 26-year-old was shot. Rahim lived at 375 Blue Ledge, which is the third unit on the left inside Stony Brook Commons.

Local, state and federal investigators began searching the apartment Tuesday morning, not long after Rahim was shot and killed by police. According to a law enforcement source, Rahim lived there with members of his family.

FOX25 asked several entering the gated community but none knew him.

An internet search shows Rahim previously lived and registered to vote in Miami. But his online presence ends there.

We are learning the most about him and his family's reaction to the shooting from one of his brothers. Imam Ibrahim Rahim is a longtime Islamic scholar and community activist from Brockton.

In a Facebook post he wrote, "Your prayers are requested: This morning while at the bus stop in Boston, my youngest brother Usaama Rahim was waiting for the bus to go to his job. He was confronted by three Boston police officers and subsequently shot in the back three times. He was on his cell phone with my dear father during the confrontation needing a witness. His last words to my father who heard the shots were: I can't breathe! While at the hospital, Usaama Rahim died! From Allah we come, and to Allah we return."

The post made no mention of the knife police say Rahim was carrying or why members of the Joint Terrorism Task Force were watching him.

He went on to tell FOX25 that his family is grieving and that he plans to speak more about this at a later date.
