HYANNIS, Mass. — A man was injured after being struck by a car in Hyannis, police say.
The man was hit while walking in the intersection of Main Street and Pine Avenue in Hyannis around 1 a.m. on Saturday.
The pedestrian's injuries weren't deemed to be life-threatening, and police say they were considered to be relatively minor. He was taken to Cape Cod Hospital for treatment.
Police say the man was helped by other pedestrians as he dealt with injuries to his head and leg when officers arrived.

The alleged driver, identified as 28-year-old Hyannis native Caitlyn Fenn, was arrested for operating under the influence, speeding and operating to endanger.
Witnesses say Fenn's car was traveling at a high rate of speed on Main Street before the accident.
She was booked at the Barnstable Police Headquarters on Saturday.
