Man dies after car rolls over during single-vehicle crash in Harwich

A  man died after his car rolled over during a single-vehicle crash in Harwich, according to Massachusetts State Police.

Police say 46-year-old Harwich native David Marceline was traveling west on Route 6, and preliminary investigation showed he lost control and swerved toward the eastbound lane, hitting the median strip.

Police say Marceline tried to correct the vehicle by swerving back into the westbound lane, but went off the right side of the road and rolled over.

Marceline was pronounced dead at the scene, and police say both the westbound and eastbound lanes were closed from Exit 10 to Exit 9 for approximately five hours.

The crash remains under investigation by Massachusetts State Police.
