Man charged after allegedly pushing 8-year-old at inflatable playground

HOOKSETT, N.H. — Police have charged a man after he allegedly pushed an 8-year-old boy at a New Hampshire inflatable playground.

Police were called to Cowabunga's in Hooksett, N.H. on July 15 for reports of an argument between two parents.

When they arrived, officers learned the 8-year-old had hit Paul Aliotta's daughter with a foam ball in the Tiki Blast ball pit area.

Police said this type of activity is allowed, but Aliotta responded by grabbing and shoving the boy, sending him backwards five feet.

Aliotta turned himself in on a warrant for simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child. He was released on $2,000 bail and is set to appear in court next month.
