Airplanes filled with Patriots fans are taking off for Houston in advance of the Super Bowl, including one lucky Milford couple heading to the big game for free.
Stephen and Gina Driscoll were the lucky winners of a contest that included round trip flights from JetBlue, hotel accommodations and two tickets to the big game.
“I’m holding two tickets to the Super Bowl on Sunday, and it feels great,” Stephen Driscoll said.
Gina Driscoll said heading to the game is a dream come true.
“It’s unbelievable,” she said. “I can’t even believe we’re here. Unbelievable.”
JetBlue added flights from the Boston-area to Houston so more fans could head to the game.
“As Boston’s top airline and as an official sponsor of the New England Patriots, JetBlue is proud to continue its long tradition of supporting teams in the cities we fly to and supporting our crewmembers who love to show their hometown support,” Marty St. George, executive vice president commercial and planning for JetBlue, said.
