WESTWOOD, Mass. — Students and staff members at Xaverian Brothers High School, a local Catholic high school in Westwood, are no longer required to wear masks at the school after Xaverian cleared the 80% vaccinated threshold, school officials announced in a letter to families Thursday night.
All students and staff members who do not have proof of vaccination on file with the school are still required to wear a mask at all times while indoors except when eating, drinking or during designated mask breaks.
Masks must still be worn on school buses in accordance with federal rules and regulations. Students who feel ill should also wear masks, the school said.
