Mass. — The weekend is here, and if you need something to do, Boston 25 has you covered.

Boston Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival

It is North America’s longest-running dragon boat festival, and the annual Boston Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival is happening Sunday. Despite the name, it is held in Cambridge at the John W. Week’s footbridge. The celebration begins at noon and later in the day 50 dragon boat teams will take to the Charles River for the race, which happens between JFK Street and Western Ave in Cambridge. The event will go on rain or shine.

Quincy Flag Day Parade

It’s the weekend before flag day, and Quincy is celebrating the stars and stripes during its 72nd Annual Flag Day parade and fireworks display. The parade starts Saturday night at 7 with fireworks at 9 p.m.

Cape Cod Pirate Festival

AHOY! If you have some swashbuckling pirates in your family, head down to the Cape Cod Pirate Festival in Yarrrrrmouth! This event is happening Saturday and Sunday at the Yarmouth Fairgrounds from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and will feature entertainment, games, and rides. Adult tickets are $15, kids ages 3 to 12 get in for $10. For tickets and more information, visit the link here.
