Investigation underway after two cars crash into Jamaica Plain bookstore

BOSTON, Mass. — Two cars crashed into the front of a beloved bookstore in Jamaica Plain on Wednesday morning.

Authorities responded to the Papercuts Bookshop around 11:30 a.m.

Two cars collided at the intersection of South Street and Carolina Avenue.

“Next thing I knew, I was in the front of the bookstore,” the driver of one of the vehicles told Boston 25 News.

One person was transported to a local hospital, according to Boston EMS. The investigation remains ongoing.
