Saturday’s interdivisional game at Fenway between the Red Sox and Yankees has been postponed due to heavy rainfall expected to hit Boston tonight.
The game will be made up as the first game of a split doubleheader on Sunday, June 18.
Tickets for Saturday’s game will be made good for the first game getting underway at 1:35 p.m. Sunday night’s game will go on as scheduled at 7:10 p.m.

The game is rescheduled as the first game of a split doubleheader tomorrow, June 18 at 1:35pm. Tickets for tonight’s game will be good for admission to the rescheduled contest.
The Red Sox currently hold a 3-1 advantage in the season series.
While showers will stick around for Father’s Day, they will be very limited in coverage and intensity during the afternoon. There will be a spot shower on radar, but many dry towns too. Plan on more below-average temperatures with highs around 70 degrees.
