• Decorative Rock and cement at the Town Boat Ramp

After reviewing surveillance footage from the areas, police were able to identify one Plymouth teen responsible for all 11 locations. The teen will be charged with 1 count of trespassing and 11 counts of vandalism to property.
Police say the vandalism was cleaned up within 24 hours.
Locals in the area say they’ll be resting more peacefully knowing the culprit has been caught.
“It’s just not acceptable it’s not," said Sarah Gorham, of Plymouth. “Just a whole different value system, lack of regard and lack of respect. I don’t know what the motive was with the destruction, it’s a shame."
Police say the high schooler admitted to everything, but didn’t seem to have any clear motive.
Plymouth Police Chief Michael Botieri says detectives scrolled through hours of surveillance footage, digging up a rock-solid case before showing up to confront the underage suspect in person.
“No real explanation in why, simply a young juvenile making a poor judgment call and that’s all he had to say," said Chief Botieri. “I got the feeling he figured we would find him eventually, I think people realize your video and photo is taken somewhere between 50 and 100 times a day just by walking around the community."
Chief Botieri says it’s unlikely the suspect will face any prison time if convicted partly because this didn’t cause any long term damage.
