NWS confirms 3 tornadoes touched down in Massachusetts

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — The National Weather Service confirmed three tornadoes touched down in Massachusetts Monday from the remnants of Henri. The tornadoes were confirmed in Marlborough, Stow and Bolton. All of the tornadoes were EF-0 with winds of 60-70 mph.

No injuries were reported.

“The 3 tornadoes were all small and brief, and produced minimal damage,” the National Weather Service wrote Monday. “As is common with tornadoes associated with tropical systems, they were not accompanied by any thunderstorms, but just relatively small showers.”
