Much of Pepperell, Dunstable without power after transmission equipment issues

PEPPERELL, Mass — Much of Pepperell and Dunstable were without power Thursday morning after a “transmission equipment issue,” according to National Grid.

National Grid crews have managed to return power to over 5,000 customers since the issue began early Thursday morning.

As of 9:45 a.m., 95 percent of Pepperell is without power, according to the MEMA outage map. Statistics for Dunstable were not available.

Most residents should have their power back by Thursday afternoon, according to National Grid.
