BOSTON — The suspension of rail service on the Blue Line has been extended until Friday, May 13.

The MBTA has said the suspension is necessary to repair the harbor tunnel. Regular service was originally set to resume Monday.

Rail suspension between Wonderland and Orient Heights, slated to begin May 12, has been postponed. This will allow for work on the Suffolk Downs pedestrian bridge.
