Man hospitalized after being pulled from Upper Mystic Lake in Winchester

WINCHESTER — A man was taken to the hospital after being pulled from Upper Mystic Lake Sunday afternoon.

State Police said they received a report of a possible drowning at Sandy Beach in Winchester around 4:37 p.m.

Police learned there was a missing man who was seen struggling in the water.

Divers found the man around 5:30 p.m. He was taken to Winchester Hospital.

His condition is unknown, according to police.

Earlier this month, a man drowned after falling off an inflatable float in an unsupervised area of the lake.
