Man arrested for breaking into Gov. Charlie Baker’s home

BOSTON — A man has been arrested for breaking and entering into Governor Charlie Baker’s home and has been ordered to stay away from the entire family, the state’s district attorney’s office said.

Lane Forman is accused of breaking into the governor’s home during the day earlier in October. He was arraigned on Oct. 7, where his bail was set at $5,000 and has been ordered to wear a GPS bracelet, where the exclusion zones include Baker’s house and Monument Street in Swampscott.

He has been ordered to stay away from Baker and his family. His next court date is set for Nov. 4 for a pre-trial hearing.

It is unclear why Forman broke into Baker’s house or if any injuries were reported.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.
