LAWRENCE, Mass. — A 17-year-old Lawrence boy was arrested and is facing murder charges that are in connection to a shooting that occurred in the city Friday night, according to police.
Lawrence Police Chief Roy Vasque, along with Essex County District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett said Adrian Corniel-Delacruz is expected to be arraigned in court on Tuesday.
Corniel-Delacruz is facing charges for the murder of 25-year-old Edward Javier on Friday.
On Monday, Francisco Jose Tejada Torres, 22, of Lawrence, was arraigned on an accessory after the fact of a murder charge in Lawrence District Court.
His bail was set at $15,000 and is scheduled for a probable cause hearing on June 11.
