BOSTON — State Police are diverting eastbound traffic on Storrow Drive at Charles Circle after an accident.
Around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, an overheight truck hit the Longfellow Bridge. The truck was carrying non-hazardous transformers when it struck, according to the Boston Fire Department.
The transformers were leaking, but it’s currently contained, they said.
No injuries have been reported.
