Check your drawers! 3 winning lottery tickets sold in Massachusetts to expire

BOSTON — You might want to double-check your drawers! Three winning lottery tickets that were sold in the Bay State last year will expire if they go unclaimed, Massachusetts Lottery officials announced Tuesday.

Two unclaimed $100,000 Mass Cash grand prizes and one $50,000 Powerball prize are nearing expiration. Each of the three tickets were sold at local stores in June and July 2022.

Mass Cash and Powerball prize winners have one year from the date of the drawing to claim prizes:

  • June 19, 2022, Mass Cash drawing -- ticket sold at Seven 86 Market on Blue Hill Ave. in Roxbury-- winning #s 01-09-11-21-31
  • June 22, 2022, Powerball drawing -- ticket sold at Sunoco on Main St. in Hudson -- winning #s 06-10-31-48-56, 12
  • July 10, 2022, Mass Cash drawing -- ticket sold at Stop & Shop on Lincoln St. in Worcester -- winning #s 01-04-08-21-30

Lottery prizes that expire become part of the net profit that the Mass Lottery returns to the Commonwealth for distribution to all 351 cities and towns.

Prizes up to $103,000 can be claimed at Massachusetts Lottery claim centers in Braintree, Dorchester, Lawrence, New Bedford, West Springfield, and Worcester.
