TAUNTON, Mass. — A 22-year-old man was taken to an area hospital after a car crashed into several cars and a commercial building on Broadway early Sunday morning, police said.
At approximately 2:06 a.m., Taunton Police received reports of a car that had crashed into a commercial building in the area of 59 Broadway. No injuries were reported.
Upon arrival, officers found that a Toyota Tundra traveling north on Broadway had hit three unoccupied parked cars, and then crashed into the front of a building.
The driver, a 22-year-old man, walked away from the crash scene on foot, police said.
Taunton officers later found him at his home, uninjured. He was evaluated at his home and then taken by ambulance to an area hospital.
“Taunton Police are taking steps to connect the driver with appropriate services,” Taunton Police Chief Ed Walsh said in a statement.
No charges are filed at this time, Walsh said. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
Taunton Fire Department and Brewster Ambulance assisted on scene.
