RAYNHAM, Mass. — A man was pinned and had to be pulled from his car by firefighters after a three-car crash in Raynham on Sunday night.

Officers responding to the area of Route 138 (Broadway) near the post office around 9:30 p.m. for a serious crash found a grey Ford Focus, a green Nissan Rogue, and a yellow Ford F-150 were all involved in a head-on collision, according to Raynham Police.

Authorities say a 20-year-old Taunton man driving the grey Ford Focus was trapped in his car and needed to be freed by firefighters. He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital via medical helicopter with serious injuries.

The driver of the Ford F-150, a 58-year-old Taunton man, was transported to Good Samaritan Medical Center. His condition is unknown at this time.

A 45-year-old Easton woman, who was driving the Nissan Rogue, declined to be transported to the hospital.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Raynham Police Department. Anyone with information about the incident or surveillance footage of the crash is asked to call police.

It is unclear if any charges will be filed.
