REVERE — The body of a man was found on Revere Beach Tuesday morning.
State police spokesperson Dave Procopio said a resident of a high-rise condo on Revere Beach Boulevard spotted the body near the Oak Island bath house and called police around 6:50 a.m.
Police said the body appeared to be a deceased male who may have washed onto the shore from the ocean. Police said the condition of the body indicates the victim “had been in the water for a period of time prior to its discovery.”
The medical examiner will work to determine the cause and manner of death.
No additional information was released.
