The best places to get brunch in Boston, according to a local foodie

With the Easter holiday just days away, Boston 25 talked with a local foodie to get her take on the best places to get brunch in Boston.

Marwa Osman, creator of the BostonFoodList Instagram page, stopped by our Dedham studios to share some of her favorite spots in the city to enjoy brunch.

Osman’s go-to spots are as follows:

  • Waverly, Charlestown ( Cozy, Serves brunch 7 days a week) -- “It’s such a cozy, cute restaurant. There’s a fireplace,” Osman said of Waverly. “They have a bucket of bubbles you can order...You have to get the griddled banana bread when you’re there. It comes with a maple pecan cream cheese. It’s so delicious.”
  • The Banks, Back Bay (Gorgeous, great location) -- “It’s a perfect location to have a day after. There are two floors, it’s a giant place. It’s just a classic restaurant,” Osman said of The Banks. “It’s seafood so they do things like whole-bellied waffles, just a lot of classic dishes.”
  • Committee, Seaport ( Delicious, Greek, can accommodate larger groups) -- “This is one of my favorite spots. It’s bright, it’s airy, and it’s always just a hustling environment,” Osman said of Committee. “The Greek food is great. You can get a Shakshouka...It’s delicious. There drink program is amazing.”

If you don’t have reservations for Easter, Osman says it’s not too late to do so.
